The ApartDirect Hammerby Sjöstad is located in a beautiful neighborhood to the south of Gamla Stan. It is a short walk to the metro stop. There are two markets close by (Lidl and Coop) and tons of restaurants and bars. There is also an obstacle course with zip line and toboggan nearby. Our room is clean, cute, quiet, and comfortable. The washer/dryer works well and comes with instructions in multiple languages. The circular stairs are a challenge as they are true to circular stairs - with the inside of each step much more narrow than the outside. However, if you don't care for the stairs, there is also a lift. We were contacted a couple times before our stay to confirm our travel information and offered different additional packages - including the basics like laundry soap, cooking oil, salt, pepper, sugar, tea, instant coffee). Upon arrival, we were given information on surrounding businesses to help us navigate the first day. The staff has been quick to respond to our texts (The shower was out of body wash. We texted before we left yesterday, and it was filled by the time we came back.) Our room is so quiet and relaxing. We rarely see or hear our neighbors. We would definitely stay here again!
Five stars is too low of a number! Area, service and room was just perfect. We needed help with something in the room when we arrived and contacted ApartDirect and was answered back ten minutes later. Problem was taken care of with no BS behind it! Tram, restaurants and beautiful scenery that seems unreal all in walking distance. Worth it.
The apartment is well located at 5 to 6 mints walking distance from bus and tramway. The room is spacious and kitchen is well equipped. The only problem we had was with the shower panel. The slant of the floor is towards the opposite direction so after you take shower you have to wipe the bathroom. They provided us with a small broken kitchen slab wiper. The size of the bathroom if very big and it's next to impossible to wipe the floor with small broken wiper.. If you know that you have a problem with flooring at least give a big wiper . I gave 2 star due to this reason. Else everything was ok.
Large and clean appartment in the suburbs of Stockholm. Nice outdoor little patio. Good neighborhood, multiple grocery stores and restaurants. Great liquor store at the corner. Location is a 15-20 minutes bike ride to the touristy areas of Stockholm. Easy one hour walk too.
The hotel was very nice and clean. Using a keycode for both the entrance and the room was really convenient. The room was well kept, and the kitchenette was well equipped. During my stay, I contacted their customer service regarding long‑term renting. They were very easy to communicate with, replied very quickly, and made a real effort to understand my needs and criteria. I ultimately chose another option, but I would gladly stay at AD again in the future.
