Reviews
Good location and pretty handy self check-in. The only confusing issue was that there were no visible numbers on the lock pad on the room door. You had to touch the black screen first to make the numbers visible which should have been mentioned in the instructions. The room itself was fine. Only issues were that the some of the floor tiles in the bathroom were broken and the toilet brush was broken too. But all in all it was a good enough stay.
Bob W promises a blend of hotel quality and apartment soul, but it ultimately delivers the absolute worst of both worlds: you get zero hotel reception or service, paired with the sterile, claustrophobic layout of a prison cell. The actual living experience feels like it was designed by someone who has never stayed in a hotel room before. It's pure style over substance, packed with baffling design choices. If you are anywhere near 1.90m, beware. They installed a suspended ceiling that drops the height to 2.10 meters. Combine that with surface mounted fire sprinklers, and you cannot even dry yourself off with a towel without smashing your knuckles, peaking into the suspended ceiling, or living in fear of setting off the building's alarms. The shower "wall" leaks and there is almost zero slope toward the drain, meaning the entire bathroom floor floods instantly. The shower gives you the downside of showering without a wall or curtain, while being stuck in a small box. Bob W leaves little notes around stating that these "imperfections" are just them being sustainable. Let’s be real, it’s not sustainable if guests have to use every single towel in the room to build a makeshift sandbag barrier to keep the rest of the apartment dry. Moving to the kitchenette area, they somehow forgot to add a sink. At least in the prison cell I stayed in. There is no sink, no dish soap, no sponge, and no dish towel. If you are staying here longer, you are apparently expected to wash your dishes in the already-flooded bathroom. Directly above the kitchen desk hangs a massive, ball-shaped IKEA lamp. You will hit your head every single time you sit down, which promptly rains dust down onto you and the food you just prepared. To top it off, the wobbly desk rocks so violently at the slightest bump that it spilled my tea. It actually spilled my tea too many times now, prompting me to write this review. Maybe it is just this specific room, but the prison-cell layout is also incredibly awkward. There is physically nowhere to place a suitcase without it being completely in your way. On top of that, the entire place had a noticeable layer of dust in certain areas. Also, some light bulbs didn't work and the curtain doesn't really close completely. If you just want to take photos for social media, it looks okay. If you actually want a functional, clean, and comfortable place to stay, with actual human hospitality, look elsewhere! And save your breath, Bob support team: I already know you’ll reply to this with a cookie cutter apology promising that you are "working on the bathroom issues, but you are still a start-up". It's the same generic way you handle on-site requests, like deflecting blame when the property's dryer breaks down, shifting the source of the problem away from yourselves, and making your guests do the work for you. Maybe removing a reception and staff isn't a good idea at all?
Our stay at this hotel was a wonderful surprise. We spent 3 days here and everything exceeded our expectations. The in-room kitchen was incredible and very well equipped — it even included a dishwasher, which was impressively quiet. The room itself was extremely comfortable, with excellent soundproofing. Even though we were next to the social kitchen and co-working area, we couldn’t hear any noise at all. We also appreciated the thoughtful details throughout the room: the windows could be opened for fresh air, although the ventilation system worked perfectly even without opening them. The room had a lovely scent thanks to the air freshener, and the bathroom amenities were great, including shampoo, conditioner, and a good-quality hair dryer. The heated bathroom floor was another fantastic touch. Access to the hotel and room via code system was smooth and convenient, making everything very easy during our stay. Overall, everything was a 10/10. We would definitely stay here again!
This was a whole new concept to me so I was pretty dissapoined at the beginning when I entered the hotel?🙈 But the stay turned out quite pleasantly! The workspace was clean and quiet; kitchen area was equipped and stocked, beautiful hallways and color schemes. The only thing I’d recommend for the staff is to dust off the headboard of the bed as it was quiet dusty 😁🫶 Thank you for a pleasant stay!
We had an amazing stay at this hotel and truly enjoyed every moment of our visit. Traveling with our wife and our twin babies, comfort and convenience were very important to us, and this place exceeded our expectations. The kitchen was incredibly useful for preparing meals and taking care of the babies’ needs, which made our stay so much easier and more relaxing. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable for our whole family. The staff was kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. It was the perfect place for a family stay, and our babies were happy and comfortable throughout the visit. We would definitely love to come back and highly recommend it to other families traveling with little ones.
