Super friendly staff. Great price-performance ratio. Very clean bathroom and delicious breakfast. Had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back.
A great place to stay if you're looking for something different. I had a room with a view of the city and couldn't stop looking at it. You have to like the waves, but otherwise you probably shouldn't stay here if it's a bit windy outside. It's a little noisy, but as long as you're considerate of others, it should be fine. Breakfast was good, too. I'm looking forward to my next visit :)
We really loved our experience here! Friendly staff, good location, good breakfast and amazing view. Originally we had a cheaper room, but got upgraded to a bigger room with a city view and private bathroom!😍 Also interior is beautiful, really felt like a capitans on the ship😁🛳️ Our trip in Stockholm was short, but memorable!
My son and I stayed for six nights on 'Den Röda Båten'. It was an exceptional experience! The location is incredible, you always get stunning views of the city. And when we were there, the inlet was completely frozen so we could walk right across to the metro station. We had a great time! We originally booked the cheapest version of the rooms and were in the lower deck of the sister ship "The Ran", which is perfectly fine, if you are in Stockholm to explore the city instead of lingering in your room. After all, it's a hostel, so you should be fine with shared bathrooms and showers (the latter of course devided by sex). But you get a feeling, how life on board might have felt while the ship was still active. Due to a problem with our room we were fortunate enough to also experience the officers cabin on the top deck, which felt like pure luxury: a private shower and toilet! And of course, the room was very nice as well! And the view in the morning - breathtakting! As it has been said many times: the staff is absolutely friendly and always there, if you have any questions or problems whatsoever. So if you are looking for a unique and authentic location to explore Stockholm and it's not all about luxury for you, than this is the perfect place for you! We'll definitely be back the next time we're in Stockholm!
Such a unique stay and experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful as I had to check in late at night. The room was so cozy and clean, the sound of waves at night is definitely a plus. The bathroom is a bit old at the red boat but understandable and kinda adds to the whole "old boat" experience. The breakfast was so tasty, a variety of simple hearty options. Will definitely stay there again the next time I'm in Stockholm
