Everything was really good. Breakfast was really good and had a lot of differed choices. The receptionist Alex was really kind and helped us when needed. Really recommended hotel. It is also not so far away from the center.
Just arrived. Installations look great, room is awesome. Location could be better, then again I booked it myself didn’t I. But what do want to remark is the extraordinary service by receptionist Oliver. Couldn’t have asked for better accommodating my questions and needs. Thanks a lot!
In no universe is this a 4 star hotel! Let me begin with 2 positives: 1 - the staff was absolutely wonderful 2 - even though I'm not a "breakfast" person, the breakfast buffet was very good NOW....as for the rest of the stay - this property is a disaster. Firstly, there is no air conditioning, regardless of what you are being told. While one employee said that the lack of cooling was just "typical Swedish air conditioning" (a complete untruth), another one admitted that the air conditioning didn't work and that even though the owners were advised of this, they have chosen to ignore the problem. Aside from our problems with this, there was literally a stream of guests at the front desk complaining. The room itself was badly outdated - it could easily been mistaken to that of a budget motel in the USA. The bathroom was the tiniest I have ever encountered. I have been on cruise ships with larger bathrooms! The shower was laughingly small. I am 5'7' and 155 pounds and had a problem fitting into it. I can't even begin to imagine someone larger trying to shower. While the price for this property was certainly more affordable than many other Stockholm hotels, I would have gladly paid more for something more acceptable. Unless you're going in winter when there is no need to provide cooling for the guestrooms, I would strongly advise staying away from Elite Hotel Arcadia.
A comfortable hotel with a great location (about 30 minutes’ walk to the Old Town). The room has a nice, comfortable double bed with a soft mattress, a writing desk, and two bedside tables. The window overlooks the city, offering beautiful sunrise views. The bathroom is well-equipped with all the essentials: shampoo, hair conditioner, body wash, hand soap, body lotion (the water can be quite drying), and a hairdryer. Fresh white towels, toilet paper, and paper tissues are provided. The room also has a safe and a minibar (extra charge). The staff are friendly. Housekeeping is done daily unless you hang the “Do Not Disturb” sign. Breakfast is buffet-style, with plenty of options to suit different tastes—vegetables, fruits, dairy products, and more—so no one will leave hungry. I definitely recommend this hotel!
