Reviews
Tapetfabriken exceeded all of our expectations, usually hotels outside of the capital tend to lack that charm. However, this old textile factory was an architect dreams by bringing modern design into a place of history. The interior was carefully curated while still having some original elements of what it used to be. Although it’s not central to Stockholm , it is located perfectly in one of the quietest areas in Stockholm, Sickla and still 15 mins on subway to STHLM .Sickla center seems like a small tech hub which offered great restaurants, shops (great secondhands (including a Stockholm auction store which had great designer furniture )and mall. For the outdoorsy people , it is very close to Hammarbybacken (ski mountain) that you can run up to . During winter you can Ski as well. South of Sickla you are very close to a huge nature reserve as well.North of Sickla you have djurgarden, which you can also travel by boat! We also enjoyed going into Stockholm on the perfect summer evenings by boat. Overall the hotel brought many great experiences and memories which we will cherish.
Home Hotel is truly a Home Away from Home. Getting there takes a bit of time from the airport but its also easy to do so. The tram and bus lines makes it easy to reach the city center easily. The room was enough for the two of us. The soap and shampoo they provide are good quality and smells really good. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The price/value ration is 10/10. The breakfast buffet offers plenty of choices and the dinner is amazing. The lobby bar has good cocktails, beers and wine.
10/10 – Highly recommended! We stayed at Tapetfabriken Home Hotel from Thursday to Saturday and had a fantastic stay. The rooms felt spacious, clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The whole hotel has a relaxed, laid-back atmosphere that makes you feel welcome and at home right away. We loved the beautiful lobby area with its industrial design and plenty of cozy seating areas to relax in. It was also nice that guests could borrow board games from the lobby. The included daily dinner was a great bonus and added a lot of value to our stay. Parking was easy to arrange in advance, allowing us to drive straight into the parking garage and walk directly into the hotel. A special thank you to Elias, who greeted us on arrival and was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Another nice touch was that the bar could provide a bucket of ice so we could keep our drinks cold in the room. The location is excellent, just a 5-minute walk from a shopping center and the tram station. From there, it took only about 15 minutes to reach Gamla Stan by public transport. Everything about our stay was easy, comfortable, and enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again.
We're so happy to have stayed at Tapetfabriken! The room was clean and comfortable, the lounge/dining area inviting and cozy, and the personnel were so incredibly nice and accomodating. With the room, fika, dinner and breakfast included, the price was just right, and also having the option to check-in earlier helped for a truly smooth experience. Even though the location is slightly outside of Stockholm, the tram and bus stops are very close by, and Sickla is a pedestrian-friendly and picturesque area. Can highly recommend!
A huge, special thanks to Snö at the front desk! She was incredibly kind and friendly, helping us seamlessly extend our stay and assisting with various requests. We truly appreciate her professional and warm service! We had an amazing 6-night stay here. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a lovely fragrance in the lobby. The inclusion of breakfast, dinner, and fika made our trip so much more convenient and enjoyable. Highly recommended!
