Absolutely loved staying here! Sandra, the Spanish girlie, was phenomenal with serving me food and coffee. She’s funny, kind, and really listens to you! She made me feel very welcomed and I hope anyone who eats at their buffet gets her as her waitress. :)
Lovely receptionist on day we arrived very welcoming , offered us water and a map of the area whilst also explaining where landmarks were relative to hotel. Room clean with great storage space i.e. drawers and wardrobes. We have been travelling through Norway, Sweden and Denmark and have been staying at Scandic and Nordic hotels. We lived out of our packing capsules as some hotels had no wardrobe or drawers to store anything. This was a pleasant change. Lady in the bar made a lovely Negroni too. ❤️
The hotel is located near the Central Station, making it a good choice for both business and holidays. The rooms are decorated in a typical Nordic style, minimalist yet stylish, simple without feeling cheap. The breakfast offers a wide selection, ranging from savory options such as bacon and sausages to traditional Scandinavian specialties and a variety of pastries.
Great location. 2 minutes to Arlanda Express, 5 minutes to central station for the Trams and subway abs close to key bus routes. We arrived at 9am on a Monday expecting to only be able to drop our bags off, and to our surprise our room was ready. That was a great start. The fitness center is in the basement and had free weights, some basic leg equipment, a machine to do heavier squats or bench press, a bike and a treadmill. They had some other stuff as well to make it worthwhile. The beds were very comfortable and soft. The room was a bit warm, so we opened the window. The room is a bit small if you have large luggage as there is no place to store it, so you would need to open it on the bed. Breakfast was great with scrambled eggs, pre-made omelet bites, sausage, bacon, chicken sausage, Overnight oats, bread, grains and many other options. Not a huge spread, but a little bit for everyone's different tastes. Only negative, wifi in our room was not great. I tried doing a few work calls, and had trouble multiple days. Friendly staff and overall great place. Would stay here again if I came back!
We just wrapped up a five-night stay at the Nordic Light Hotel in Stockholm — our first visit to the city — and it honestly made the whole trip that much more special. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was exactly right: modern and design-forward, but warm and inviting rather than cold or clinical. That balance really sets this place apart. A few highlights worth calling out: 🛏 The rooms are beautifully designed in a true Nordic modern style — clean lines, thoughtful touches, and genuinely impressive storage. Everything had a place, which makes such a difference over a longer stay. 🍳 Breakfast was outstanding. The buffet had incredible variety and the quality was well above what you'd expect — easily one of the best hotel breakfasts we've had anywhere. 🛋 The lobby is an absolute gem. Chic but comfortable, it worked perfectly whether we were grabbing a meal, catching up on some work, or just unwinding after a day of exploring the city. The staff throughout were friendly, efficient, and genuinely helpful — never over the top, just reliably excellent. If you're visiting Stockholm, Nordic Light is a fantastic base. We'll absolutely be back.
