I did have my doubts when booking here, because of very low price, but after reading the suberp reviews I had the courage. (I got some special summer offer) During my 10 years of testing different hotels in Sweden I do not have high expectations even if staying in more expensive places. My stay here topped every expectation I might’ve had and I loved everything. The hotel felt like a 5* place, the staff was so professional, but also very friendly, which often seems to be too much to be asked for. The room was perfect, very comfortable bed and linens, everything very clean and fresh. I must say it was on the small side because of the layout (standard double) but I was alone and it was spacious. Breakfast was wonderful, there were plenty of staff taking care of the guests and all the food was fresh and not exactly same as the usual Scandi buffets. I loved all the pickled veggies and fruits and coffee was good, served to the table. It would have been possible to order omelets and French toast from the kitchen but I skipped. I wish someone told me I could order also the special diet food also, but I was very happy with the things I found from the buffet. The hotel also has a very good gym in the basement. Location is perfect too, so I will definitely be staying here next time I visit the centrum.
Nice hotel in a great location. Nice accomodations, albeit the room we got was on the smaller side, to be fair we knew this going in. Right across the street from the central train station and walking distance to Gamla Stan and shopping. Staff was wonderful and daily breakfast was great.
My stay at Thon Hotel Vasa was wonderful. Its convenient location also makes it easy to explore Stockholm while returning to a peaceful place to unwind. If you're looking for a hotel that proves smaller spaces can feel stylish, comfortable, and intimate, Thon Hotel Vasa is an excellent choice. It offers a cozy retreat with thoughtful design and genuine hospitality. I also recommend enjoying a meal in their Salon Terminal restaurant or bar.
This hotel is conveniently located right in front of the Central Station. The breakfast is good, and the hotel is clean and well maintained. Although the rooms are not very spacious, they are comfortable. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service, from luggage assistance to check-out. The only downside is that the room rates are quite expensive during the summer season.
Great "new" hotel, recently renovated, and very stylish. Great service from the staff. Amazing breakfast with a top quality an all products. The scrambled eggs was really good and were freshly made, and my wife who usually doesn't eat scambled eggs loved them. The homemade Swedish cookies and banana bread are worth a taste. You can also order Omelette, porridge and pancake, all included in the breakfast.
