Such a nice place with so much potential. Unfortunately, chronically understaffed and never prepared for all the people visiting on weekends. Photo from 13h on a Sunday :(
We've been going here to get some good Cappuccino and Latte and delicious Kanebullar for breakfast before heading to the museums on the island. Nice atmosphere inside the bakery as well as outside near the water. Definitely a recommendation.
After three years and many fikas in Sweden, I can honestly say this was the best I’ve found! The buns were caramelized and perfect for some nice bird watching on their terrace!
Having biked around the island of Djurgården for a while, we were looking for a place for fika. Slipen Bakery is definitely the perfect spot for this. They offer an excellent selection of classic Swedish sourdough buns, including sweet and moist cinnamon buns (kanelbullar) and heavily spiced cardamom buns (kardemummabullar). The indoor seating features a striking industrial aesthetic with large glass windows and cool, historic boats hanging from the ceiling. Alternatively, you can sit directly next to the water at the boat-building docks which offer sun-drenched views across the archipelago. We enjoyed our time outdoors taking in the unbeatable views. As it is tucked away in the shipyard alleys, the vibe is cozy and relaxing. Make sure to add it to your Stockholm bucket list!
Really beautiful restaurant but my main remark is that it was very cold inside. Meals were good but small. Stuff is very polite and helpful. Value for money was not okay.
