A good burger place on a lively street with lots of pedestrians and tourists. The food was nice, though there was a bit of a queue.
Visited on May 23 around lunchtime. The beer selection was excellent, and the burgers were tasty with quality ingredients. We were seated quickly outside, but service and food preparation took longer than expected. The only minor criticism is that the burgers had a bit too much greens for our taste. Other than that, we enjoyed our meal and would recommend the place.
Pleasantly surprised by our lunch here. Seemed like a potential tourist trap, but had decent food and friendly service. The menu is well labeled for various dietary needs. I got the vegan burger with green beans as a side and it was filling and tasty.
Stopped into Barrels to get out of the rain and were pleasantly surprised. The beer selection was a highlight — it’s projected on the wall, which is a really cool touch, and there were plenty of local options to choose from. I also really liked the European serving sizes (20cl and 40cl), which felt more flexible compared to the usual UK options. We didn’t eat this time, but the food looked great as it was coming out to other tables — definitely somewhere we’d come back to try properly.
Wow. Vastly exceeded my expectation. Came in for a quick beer after walking old town, but one of their staff sat down for lunch at the bar with a burger and fry combo that looked incredible. Burger was immaculate (smashburger, single patty). Told the guy (owner?) That it reminded me of a fancy in-n-out, but thats just my lack of words. The smash burger is a totally different class. SO. GOOD. Adding this as a mandatory stop if I ever come back through Stockholm. Also, everything else: -nice wide selection of local beers and familiar ones. The sign out front is a beer collective that gathers local breweries together. They've got brand spectrum too light to heavy -immaculate vibes. Cool music, not too loud, super friendly but not pushy staff It's going to be very hard to not come here repeatedly, even though I know theres a whole city out there, this place feels like a warm fire on the cold feet of my soul
