Our reservation helped us get into this popular venue. A very fine dining experience with fresh and seasonal ingredients, ice cream and strawberries for example. Chef carefully selects the high quality ingredients and lovingly prepares rich and sumptuous small plates for our set menu. The #Michelin guide recommendation is well deserved. We enjoyed every single course of our meal. Thank you chef
We visited Prospero in Stockholm for our first dinner in the city and it did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived, the service set the tone for the evening. Our server, Ella, was exceptional. She was warm, genuinely friendly, highly knowledgeable about both the menu and the pairings, and even took time at the end of the meal to offer thoughtful restaurant recommendations for the rest of our stay. The level of hospitality exceeded our expectations. We chose the tasting menu with both the wine pairing and the non alcoholic pairing, which ended up being a real highlight. The non alcoholic pairing in particular was impressive and honestly surprising in the best way. Each drink was balanced, refreshing, and thoughtfully composed without being overly sweet, and it complemented the dishes just as well as the wine. The food throughout the tasting menu was executed at a very high level with no missteps. Every course felt precise and well balanced, but the standout for us was the venison dish. It was incredibly tender with a rich, deeply flavorful sauce that tied everything together beautifully. We also mentioned that we were celebrating a birthday and the team kindly surprised us with a cake and candle, which added a thoughtful finishing touch to the evening. Overall, Prospero is an excellent dining experience in Stockholm. The quality of the food, the strength of the pairings, and the genuinely outstanding service make it a place we would highly recommend, especially given how fairly priced it feels for what you receive.
A lovely place! Cozy and chilled atmosphere with a casual, modern vibe, yet absolutely professional when it comes to service and food. Surprisingly affordable, especially for Stockholm, but we did not feel anything to be “cheap” at any point. The food was well balanced, and the order in which the dishes were served made perfect sense. We had the normal and the vegetarian menu. The vegetarian menu was just as well thought out and complex as the normal one. We had the mushroom pâté as a starter – get it, people, it is amazing! The bread and the little cake at the end were also top-notch! Prospero is for everyone, even for people who do not have the “biggest wallet” but want to experience fine dining in Stockholm. We loved it! To the team: Thank you for the super nice evening, keep it up, you guys!
small gem with a relaxed, intimate atmosphere and beautifully composed food. The tasting menu is delicious, and the service is warm, attentive, and personal. It’s a great choice if you want a memorable dining experience with excellent value.
Half-basement. Chill atmosphere. The food was generally well made. The celeriac was the best dish. But the portion size was really small. It was possible to add extra snacks/dessert, but by the look of its size, we were certain that it would not be filling anyway and skipped it. Nice with sponge cake served with the bill. It's just that we would have enjoyed it more (since it was not a small bite) if served earlier (not when right about to leave). Maybe with some coffee/tea. The staff never asked if we wanted any coffee/tea before serving the main dessert either, and we didn't know that "porcini" was dessert, so we did not have chance to ask for it. Coffee/tea was not listed on the menu either, so I was not sure if the restaurant served it.
