We had a great time, very friendly front desk and breakfast personnel. Rooms were clean, albeit small. Well priced, modest but tasty breakfast. Good localization, close to shops, restaurants, cafe, metro and even a walk to the centre/river. Would recommend!
This is a decent hotel. It’s basic, but alright for the price compared to how expensive other hotels are - many rooms for the same price did not offer a window. It was clean. You can ask for extra towels and cleaning at reception if you wish. We had a room facing the road so it was a bit noisy especially if the window was open in the heat which is something to bear in mind. The included breakfast is good, they have enough food which is regularly replenished and there are two rooms worth of seating so we always found space to sit.
I stayed at Hotel Fridhem from May 25th to May 28th. The hotel is about a 20–25 minute walk from Norrmalm. Overall, I had a good experience. My room was on the fifth floor and faced the main street. I had read some negative reviews about noise, so I was a bit worried before arriving, but honestly I slept really well every night. At a certain point in the evening, not even that late, the area becomes very quiet, and there wasn’t any noise that disturbed my sleep. I also enjoyed the breakfast: it was good and had a decent variety of options. In my opinion, it only lacked a few more sweet breakfast choices, like croissants or cake, and maybe scrambled eggs among the savory options. As for the room cleaning, I already knew at the time of booking that housekeeping was done every four days, and I had no problem with that. However, I would have appreciated the room being properly clean at check-in: the tray with coffee, tea, and milk sachets, as well as the cups, glasses, teaspoons, and kettle, were quite dusty. Talking about the bathroom, I didn’t really like the shower area because there isn’t a proper shower enclosure, so the bathroom floor gets quite wet. Other than that, though, it was a positive experience overall, and I would definitely stay there again for a short trip.
We stayed at this hotel and in this location for 4 nights from March 23-27, 2026, and we enjoyed it very much. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The room was clean, and despite Stockholm being cold in the last week of March, the hotel's heating system worked very well, so we didn't feel cold at all. The internet was very fast, and despite having many guests, the hotel was quiet and peaceful. The price is also quite reasonable by Swedish standards. It's usually full, so finding a vacant room isn't easy, but try your luck. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Most importantly, there's a metro station under the hotel, so you can reach the city center in 10 minutes. There's a Coop Market and restaurants under the hotel that stay open until late. The facilities are excellent. We would like to thank the hotel staff very much. They helped us with many things and made a very nice gesture. Our holiday was very enjoyable and pleasant. 💜💜💜💜💜 A huge thank you to Ms. Bayra at the reception, to the kitchen staff, to Yadigar and Mehmet, and to Mr. Mustafa from the hotel administration. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 This is a hotel we will definitely stay at again when we come to Stockholm. Surprisingly great. We chose the hotel for the best value for money, and we didn't regret it. Excellent location, practically on top of Fridhem station. The breakfast is served with variety, for all tastes. We stayed 3 nights, on the last day, we needed to leave before breakfast time, I asked at reception if it would be possible to provide a snack kit, which was promptly delivered to the room minutes later. Incidentally, the staff (reception) were extremely friendly and competent.
