We stayed in one of the suites for our wedding and it was a lovely experience! The room was clean, spacious and airy with a beautiful view over Mariatorget. The staff were lovely and attentive and made both us and our wedding guests staying at the hotel feel very welcome. The breakfast buffet is also fabulous and shouldn’t be missed!
An absolutely fantastic stay. The breakfast was probably the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had. Rooms were clean and comfy. Standard room was small but totally fine for 2 people. Hotel was fantastically located and so easy to get around the city from. Great restaurants and bars in the area also. Staff were all so friendly and helpful and kind. I hope to stay here again one day!
My wife and I stayed here for the last 4 days of our 6 week European holiday. We wanted somewhere quietly located with a bit of luxury to wind down from our trip. From the moment we checked in, we were greeted by very welcoming staff who helped us out with local attractions and recommendations. I had emailed the staff in advance as it was our 7th Wedding Anniversary and to my surprise they gave us chilled wine in our room on arrival which was a beautiful touch. We were upgraded to the Deluxe Balcony room which I HIGHLY rate and would suggest you do this yourself. It was well priced for what you get. Spacious room with lots of hanging space, lovely little balcony overlooking the garden/park. The bed was the most comfortable we slept in during this holiday of about 10 other similar hotels and the bathroom was spacious with a bath and large shower area. Breakfast was buffet AND al acarte food which was so good. The fresh croissants and Swedish French toast got me started each day. This is exactly what we needed to wind down at the end of our trip and I can’t thank the staff enough for their hospitality. Swedish people really are amazing. Thank you - from Australia.
We had an amazing time at the Hotel Rival. Great location we always had fun walking the neighborhood and had easy access to all of Stockholm. The service at Rival was impeccable, friendly and helpful at all times. The room itself was immaculately kept, amenities a plenty. Very spacious, could stretch out and unpack things well and the bathtub was a rare sight. Also the evening turndown service was a treat with sparkling water delivered every evening.
Hotel Rival is a beautiful building, and all the spaces are comfortable, attractive and welcoming, from the front desk to the room to the restaurant and bar. The bed was soft, the shower hot and strong. The coffee station was always stocked and the included breakfast set me up for a great day. The hotel is conveniently located near the Metro, and near many restaurants and sights. I was able to walk the neighborhood as well. Overall I enjoyed my stay immensely and will use Hotel Rival if I am in Stockholm again in the future. Highly recommended!
