After starting our small group tour (max 10 participants) at the Gamla Stan (Old Town) metrostation we will experience the beautiful view of lake Mälaren, the third greatest lake in Sweden. We will take pictures of the City Hall, a landmark of Stockholm and the location for the annual Nobel Price banquette. We continue, passing the House of Nobility, by many considered as the most beautiful building in Stockholm. We enter the old town, experiencing the cobblestone alleys, a rune stoned dated 1050 and the Royal Palace, one of the bigger palaces in Europe, with more than 600 rooms. We will also meet the Iron Boy, the smallest statue in Stockholm. Caressing his soft head will give us good luck for the rest of the trip, or maybe the rest of our lives. Some of this good luck we might need right away, when we after passing through the narrowest alley i Stockholm, embarke the ferry that will take us to Djurgården, the museum island where the Vasa museum is situated. The ferry start off on the same route as the Vasa ship had in 1628, but will not capsize and after a short trip reach the Djurgården island where the Vasa museum (and several other museums) are located.
