We -2 people- stayed in apartment 10. It was basement level from the entry but because of the steep slope of the area, the front is located above a shop and has 3 large windows looking out to the building across the road. It felt a bit like living in a cave. Initially I was concerned because the air smelled stale and I thought we couldn’t open the windows. But we were able to open one window just a little and that improved the feel of the apartment. On the positive side it is very spacious, in a great location, well equipped and the bed was comfortable although the pillows were losing their firmness. There is a notice stating that hot water is limited but we did not run out. The shower curtain doesn’t reach the floor so water gets everywhere in the very small bathroom. More hooks in the bathroom would be useful. There is a clothes washing machine and laundry powder is provided, but no instructions for how much powder to use . There is no dryer, just a very small airer. As no sun enters the apartment, it is difficult to dry clothes. I used an electric fan and turned on the heating which worked. There is a reasonable amount of street noise and noise from the other apartments, but as it is a pedestrian area, no traffic noise except delivery vehicles early in the morning. I had no reason to contact the apartment managers so cannot comment on their helpfulness or not. We did get good written instructions before and during our stay.
A truly lovely apartment. Very quaint. Great location. My family enjoyed it thoroughly. Great host
