We had an amazing stay at Story Hotel Stockholm and couldn’t recommend it more! The location is fantastic, the hotel is spotless, the food is excellent, and the atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming. What really made our stay exceptional, though, was the outstanding staff. Every single person we interacted with was friendly, professional, and genuinely accommodating. Even when the hotel was busy, everyone went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Before our trip, we had read reviews mentioning that the rooms were on the smaller side, so we were a little concerned. While the room size wasn’t ideal for us, Sandra and Maria were incredibly understanding and accommodating. They did everything they could to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable, and their kindness truly made a difference. Throughout our stay, they constantly checked in to make sure we had everything we needed and reassured us that they were more than happy to help with anything. Their exceptional customer service turned what could have been a minor issue into a wonderful experience. From the excellent service and delicious food to the unbeatable location and amazing team, Story Hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. Thank you to Sandra, Maria, and the entire staff for making us feel so welcome. We will definitely be back!
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would definitely stay here again. I stayed for a week, and it was a great home base for exploring Stockholm. The breakfast was excellent and something I genuinely looked forward to every morning. The rooms are small, but they're charming, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed to make decent use of the space. I liked hanging out on the little balcony in the mornings. The best part of my stay, though, was the people. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely seemed to care about making my visit enjoyable. They offered great recommendations for places to visit and were proactive about helping improve my experience in ways I didn't expect or ask for. Their hospitality made a memorable stay even better.
My family and I had a great stay for 5 days at this hotel for my husband’s birthday. The staff were friendly, our lily dam suite was perfect for a family of 3, and was insanely clean. Free yummy breakfast everyday was also great. For tourist travelers, this hotel is also right across the street from the train and only 1 stop away from central. We couldn’t have asked for a better hotel.
If you’re in Stockholm and looking for a cutesy yet affordable stay, I genuinely can’t recommend Story Hotel Stockholm Stureplan enough. The rooms are cozy but thoughtfully designed, with just enough personality, no sad, lifeless hotel energy here. Location-wise? Surrounded by shops, restaurants, and touristy spots. Plus, it’s conveniently near a train station and bus stops, which makes getting around the city ridiculously easy. Staff are friendly and helpful without being overbearing, which we love. Overall, it’s the perfect pick if you want something trendy, accessible, and reasonably priced.
5 stars Loved this spot! Super central in Stureplan/Östermalm—everything’s walkable, from cool bars and shops to the metro. Room was nice and big, bed was insanely comfy (slept like a rock), and the breakfast buffet? Amazing—tons of fresh stuff, great coffee, perfect start to the day. Chill vibe, friendly staff. Totally coming back! 😊
