Wow! What an amazing restaurant! Incredible attention to detail, the most tasty food and wonderful Ambiente. The staff was super friendly - this was truly a 5 star experience. We had the fish - what a taste sensation and the cheese cake desert - such an innovative approach! Thank you - we will be back!
After a disappointing experience with our first reservation being cancelled, we decided to give Strand another chance and I’m honestly very happy that we did. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm, elegant and welcoming. The restaurant itself is beautiful with a really nice vibe that makes the whole evening feel special and relaxed at the same time. We started with Bloody Mary cocktails made with green tomato juice, which was such a creative and delicious twist — definitely something different and memorable. The food was presented to a very high standard and every dish felt carefully prepared with great attention to detail. And the dessert was absolutely amazing. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional throughout the night. The service was excellent from start to finish and they genuinely made us feel taken care of. Overall, we ended up having a memorable and unforgettable evening and we really appreciate the effort Strand made to turn our experience around. We’ll definitely be coming back again.
Lovely dining at Strand Restaurant — the Swedish moose meatballs with cranberry sauce were rich, tender, and beautifully balanced. Warm, attentive service made the experience even more enjoyable.
Third time I am here and I will definitely come back! Delicious food, stunning service, great acoustic and ambiance no matter where you sit. (The terrace was Greta Garbo' s favourite hangout in the summer time.) We had a big event celebrating Trimbach 400 year with 60 guests. Food was remarkable!! It is stunning how the team in the kitchen can put out such delicious plates of fish cooked to perfection! The croquetas were so good that they disappeared immediately before being photographed!
