The MOST delicious, varied breakfast with hot & cold fresh foods on offer! The MOST comfortable hotel bed! Even though our 5th floor room had a sloped ceiling and brick floor, it was clean and a good size with a large bathroom. Very kind staff! Nicely located nearby public transit. Remember your face mask in summer since there are no blackout curtains for the Midnight Sun. Most recommended!
I didn’t feel comfortable at this place. The sleep, meh. The service overall needs some work and has plenty of room to improve! It just didn’t click for me. It felt like it fell flat. Rooms nice. Spacious. Fluffy towels. Great shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Smelled delicious and sharp. Chocolates on bed and sparkling water was a touch to expect from a more luxurious accommodation albeit they completely missed the checkout requests. The space does ooze a bit of luxury. I had moments of peace there but perhaps the late check in mixed with some other circumstances but I am potentially willing to give it a second chance despite this pending reflection. Can’t comment on breakfast I was rushed out to work. Maybe another day, early in the morning.
We booked 3 nights at this beautiful hotel, perfectly located in Stockholm. As soon as we arrived we felt totally at home, and I would say that the real pearl of this hotel is the staff ! Helpful, professional, kind, available for everything we needed, and they all speak perfect English. Breakfast is a real delight, probably one of the best I've had Worldwide ... yes Worldwide ! Great selection of fruit, cheese, cereals, juices, tea, coffee, bread and more and more and more ! The bar is open all day, a nice place to relax early evening with a glass of wine or coffee. The location is perfect, within walking distance of most of Stockholm's tourist attractions. If you want to stay in Stockholm, this is the place to stay, no questions asked. The room was very comfortable, lacking storage so we couldn't empty our suitcases. The ceiling was a little low on one side as we were under the roof on the 5th floor, but this didn't take anything away from the quality of our stay. We most definitely will be back to stay here again.
Room: Stayed at Ruth Petit room (room no. 105). Small room. The room itself did not feel too small due to high ceiling. However, it was a bit tight when getting to the side of the bed facing the window, and I hurt my foot several times walking to/from bed. The bedroom was quite cold. The radiator was off when we got into the room, and it was not warm enough even when having full power on the radiator. Comfortable bed and fluffy pillows. A plus for the mini chocolate and complementary bottle of water. A minus for not having shoehorn. The bathroom was also quite small. I am short (157 cm) and my knees almost hit the door when sitting on the toilet. Nice with heated bathroom floor. The biggest minus, and the biggest reason for the rating is due to all the noise, giving us bad sleep. We could hear everything going on at the corridor, right outside our room and also noise from the streets. The housekeeping trolleys were rolling right outside our room from early morning (extra noisy due to the wooden floor). There were also some recycling station right outside our window, and the boxes were emptied also early in the morning (including the sound of glass bottles hitting against each other). Location: Close to many restaurants and cafés. Not easy to find a parking spot nearby. The hotel offers parking spot in a garage for 400 SEK, but that garage is tiny and bigger cars may have problem parking. Hotel: Interior in bold colors. Charming. Breakfast: All the classic items were offered and more. They had pre-made toasts, various spreads, fruit shots (non-alcoholic), non-alcoholic sparkling wine, cakes etc. Lemon & ginger slices were available for the tea. Resorb available at the water station. They also had small notes with tips on how to build a tasty bagel, how to build a tasty yoghurt bowl etc. The breakfast items were checked and filled constantly. The staff also went around and offered freshly made madeleine cookies, croissants etc. The food was generally of decent quality, but none of the food items stood out flavourwise.
The room is a little small, but confortable. The breakfast is awsome, the best in our last trip, when we passed by six countries. Even better than 5 stars hotels. All the staff is great, always ready to help us. Great place to stay and enjoy Stockholm. ❤️
