4.5-star pork cheek with vegetables, 2-star other dishes. I was expecting higher quality of food with this price range. The pork cheek was soft and tenderly cooked through, and paired really well with the refreshing various vegetables. The apple jam added sweetness and acidity to the dish, which was a great match with the other ingredients. The only thing that could be improved was that the pork odor was not entirely removed. The chicken breast was very dry, and to be honest I don’t get why using chicken breast instead of thigh for this dish. The duck croquette which came together with the chicken breast was very tasty, however it made the dish feel like two individual dishes because these two things weren’t complimenting each other. The morels supposed to be very nice but unfortunately there were a lot of sands in them. The waitress was kind enough to offer us free desserts in compensation of the sandy mushrooms. Another thing I would like to point out is that the menus were way too worn out, there were stains on the paper and the prints were removed here and there, and made it hard for me to read it. These old prints really dragged down the level of this place, and reduced the appetites. Also, it was a shame that the bar menu was not served in the restaurant.

The decor was stunning. The service was nonchalant/disinterested, but I am told that Swedish culture tries not to make a big deal out of things (🤷🏻‍♀️). I went with some friends since it has been ranked as one of the top bars in the world, but frankly I was not impressed. I am not a connoisseur; cocktails are simply my hobby. I have been to Death & Co (NYC) on several occasions, Kumiko (Chicago, IL) on several occasions, Martinys (NYC) on several occasions, The Flying Dutchman (Amsterdam), etc and had a better culinary experience. The drinks were simply average by comparison. Some even lost important nuance because of one ingredient overpowering the others, instead of a balanced symphony of flavors. Perhaps it made it on the top 50 and top 100 due to affiliation with a company that also sponsors these lists. Hard to say. My recommendation is that you go in with average expectations. It will be better than your average bar, but not as good as a premium bar experience. Overall we had a good time and I learned a lot about what their flavor profiles are like, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to go again.

Great unique cocktails with local ingredients and twists. I tried their Brända Vinbär and Morot drinks. Both were good but the Morot one I'll definitely be back for. I also like that they've kept the seating numbers low upstairs so it doesn't get too rowdy. Highly recommend.

We stopped here to have drinks before my birthday dinner. It was a good experience, I totally recommend trying their cocktails, unfortunately we didn’t get to see the upstairs bar as it was already busy when we got there. Downstairs was also nice, but I wished I could have tried more of their cocktails downstairs. Apple Negroni was my fav.
