Best entrecote I’ve ever had here!! Wow. The service was amazing (is being attractive a prerequisite to working here? Hahah) lots of variety on the menu. Just fantastic and will be coming back asap.
We had a fantastic meal there. The manager who likes to ski was certainly service oriented and fantastic. He certainly took care of us. However, our waitress left a lot to be desired. She was not genuine nor attentive. I put her in the phony category. Great atmosphere. I certainly recommend you going there.
Review: Brasserie Astrid Brasserie Astrid sits in a beautiful location overlooking Slussen, right in the heart of the newly developed area that’s aiming to bring fresh life back to this part of Stockholm. And it’s off to a promising start. The restaurant feels like a modern brasserie should. Bright, stylish, and welcoming without trying too hard. The open kitchen adds energy to the room, and the generously sized bar looks like a destination in its own right. Unfortunately, this was a lunch visit, so the bar will have to wait for another day. The menu is varied and well thought out, with three different daily specials alongside the regular offerings. We chose the veal. And it was excellent. Perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and sized exactly as a lunch should be. Enough to satisfy you without leaving you wondering if an afternoon nap is now mandatory. At 165 SEK, it also feels fairly priced, which is becoming increasingly rare in Stockholm. Service was exactly what you want from a lunch restaurant: quick, friendly, attentive, and efficient without rushing you. The real star, however, might be the location. Sitting outside with views towards Stockholm’s beautiful Old Town and the waters around Slussen makes even a simple lunch feel a little special. Good food, good service, and one of the city’s most exciting new locations. At 165 SEK for a perfectly cooked veal lunch, it’s hard to argue with the value. I’ll definitely be back to see what they can do at dinner service. The open kitchen, inviting bar, and stunning location suggest there’s plenty more to discover once the sun goes down. 🍷✨🍽️
Astrid is a very pleasant brasserie in Stockholm. We popped in without a reservation and ended up sitting at the bar, where we had a fantastic time. We ordered some drinks along with a few light bites to share, and everything was good. The service was both efficient and friendly, which added to the great atmosphere. While we got lucky walking in, making a reservation is probably recommended. A wonderful spot!
Really nice experience overall. The place has a vibe, decoration feeling sort of tropical feelings (yet stylish). Chill music in the background. I ordered fish, it was excellent - a bit more fine dining style, great elaboration, not super much amount but on line with expectations.
