Popped in during a quiet time, but the staff were great. I'm coeliac and they do an amazing and safe fish and chips. They're very knowledgeable about cross contamination and have separate fryers. My boyfriend, who is not coeliac, also enjoyed the meal.
Fun Irish pub in Gamla stan, there was life music when we were there, quite fun. They apparently have plenty of events, like quiz night. The interior was cool. There's more room underground, and probably quieter without the music. Plenty of TV to watch sport and everything,
We had been there 2 times in 3 days because of the atmosphere and live music. If you want the cold beer and have fun, strongly recommended.
If Dublin had a side quest in Stockholm, it’d be The Liffey. Great beer, live music that somehow turns strangers into drinking buddies, and the kind of atmosphere where “just one pint” is always a lie. My favorite Irish pub in town - chaos, craic, and good people every time.
Pretty nice little place, but the service today for me was not good. Bartender was friendly, but after getting my Guinness the waitress never came by for me to place a food order or to offer a refill. So I missed a food opportunity. The three staff were engaged in happy conversation. Maybe it was just a fluke. Give it a try, but keep your expectations reserved.
