Good price, nice place by the river but I don’t get the hype around the herring. It was cold, oily and didn’t have much taste actually. The potato mash also mid. The best part was the cucumber but beside that just meh. Need some salt, pepper, lemon etc
Phenomenal place! Most authentic herring experience you can get! Food truck out of which they sell just few items but top quality! You eat sitting on the wooden table next to truck! Friendly owner behind the counter had small chick chat with us. Prices crazy normal for the quality you get! Absolutely worth it!
Amazing herring! I am absolutely not a fan of this kind of fish, but this one surprise me!! As I tried only the fried one I feel I can recommend it! Try Skaning or Special... very very nice. As it is a truck you can sit in a big table or on the benches around.
Personally, I love fried herring. It is simple yet of so distinctive taste. It was on my list to try and I returned the next day for more. They offer a variety of servings from a basic open sandwich, through a wrap to a complete dish with a potato mash. It is a very Scandinavian experience. Do not expect fine dining here, but basic food can also be delicious.
