Great lodging experience from a well-traveled couple. Check-in was smooth and the staff patient, caring, and helpful. The room on the 7th floor was clean and well-maintained by the housekeeping staff. The entire hotel is clean as well. Breakfast was excellent and the staff very quick to clear plates and reset tables when diners leave. The "spread" had something for everyone- breads, cheeses, fruit, baked goods, hot food, juices, water, milk (reg and nondairy), and coffee (four machines!). Dinner was also excellent the one night we dined at the hotel. The Burger Jarl is delicious! *chef's kiss* We were on a cycling trip with locally rented bikes. For fellow cyclists, there is space in the garage for bikes, however, it is not a separate secure space (e.g. a room or cage). But, to get to the garage from the outside requires a coded card and a room card to open two different security door. While there were no immovable objects or bike wheel racks to chain/cable lock a bike to, I would not have an issue with locking my bike with a security device and leaning at against the wall in the bike area. I can't say that about every hotel garage I have used throughout Europe. HBJ was an excellent choice for our lodging needs for one week. Much appreciated!
One of the most beautiful hotels I’ve had the pleasure of staying in to celebrate my birthday. The check in staff were very friendly, the bar team was incredibly kind and the food was excellent. I’ll add a few pictures. My room had a wonderful view and overall I really liked the room. Thank you, felt comfortable and welcomed during my stay
Nice location, we had a somewhat cheaper room, which was fine for the two of us. Everything was clean. All of the staff is really nice, everyone we spoke to was friendly and helpful. The location is close to the city centre/metrostation and pretty quiet. The gym is on the better side for a hotel, you can definitely get a good workout in.
Awesome location. Underground parking next door. Plenty of parking spaces for petrol, as well as electric cars, with charging available. Friendly staff. Awesome rooms. Delicious breakfast. My only suggestion is that to be clear in description that parking was not free. I was expecting to pay, so no shocker, but just didn't see during reservation. All in all, super happy and sould gladly stay again.
Great hotel in central Stockholm, and especially if you are travelling by car and need a good parking. The breakfast is wonderful. Have stayed here a few times over the years and always had a good experience. Comfortable beds. Friendly service. Warmly recommend!
