This hotel rightfully deserves to be categorized with the unbound collection. Very unique hotel. Check in was quick. Wasn’t able to get a globalist upgrade but the sea view 1 king bed room was sufficient for 1 night. The room included binoculars which was fun to use to see out in the water. The rooms are small for American standards but normal for Europe. The breakfast was realllly good and the juices were very tasty. Breakfast was free as a globalist and it was a buffet so you can grab as much as you like. The underground spa was so cool and my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the sauna and cold plunge pool. We loved that we could do it together as most saunas at least in the US are separated by gender. For our second night, we stayed in the Nordic suite which was absolutely amazing! Used a suite upgrade award and it was so worth it. The room was much bigger and the bed was very comfortable. The in room sauna heated up in no time and was very nice to use. Shower was big and nice and the room even had 2 bathrooms. The rooms don’t have A/C but they both did have a fan which we thought was sufficient. They allowed us to check in early and check out late for both rooms. If you are a globalist, I especially recommend this hotel. You definitely get value out of your status. It’s a category 4 so you could also use your free night certificates (which I did lol). tack så mycket Hotel Reisen!
Exceptional Stay in Gamla Stan! Hôtel Reisen completely exceeded expectations. The location right on the waterfront in Old Town is unbeatable—you are steps away from the Royal Palace and the charm of the historic cobbled streets, but with beautiful harbor views right outside the door. As a Hyatt property, the attention to detail is fantastic. The historic character of the building (you can feel the centuries of history in the architecture) is beautifully balanced with modern, upscale Scandinavian design. The rooms are immaculate, with fresh flowers, the beds are INCREDIBLY comfortable. Don't miss the vaulted spa/sauna area downstairs—it's the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. The entire staff was professional, warm, and highly attentive. Will absolutely stay here again next time I'm in Stockholm!
Hotel Reisen is wonderful!! Excellent unbeatable location in the heart of the old town a professional warm friendly service. It’s part of the Hyatt brand and I appreciate being able to use my Hyatt membership to stay here. Rooms are spacious and super super comfortable. Better bed than I have at home. Breakfast was included for Globalist and they have excellent drinks. The hot food was a bit of a let down for vegetarians as it was very meat, egg, fish heavy. Would be nice if they added some carbs or plant based protein too, especially in a progressive place like Stockholm.
We came from England for our first visit to Sweden and really enjoyed our stay at Hôtel Reisen. The location was perfect, right by the waterfront and the Old Town, which made it very easy to explore Stockholm. The hotel has a lovely historic feel, but still feels elegant and comfortable. Breakfast was very good, with a calm atmosphere and a nice selection before heading out for the day. We also enjoyed the spa downstairs, which was a relaxing bonus after walking around the city. Jonathan, the receptionist who checked us in, if I remember his name correctly, was especially welcoming and helpful. He explained about the hotel and the spa, and gave us useful advice for our day in Stockholm. The young man at the entrance who helped my wife with her suitcase was also very kind and attentive. A lovely start to our trip in Scandinavia.
