We had an absolutely lovely stay here during our time in Stockholm. The staff were universally excellent and the service here was certainly the best of our month-long Europe trip. I was especially grateful when they were happy to store our bags for a few hours when we arrived in Stockholm two days before our check in while we waited for our ferry to Sandhamn. I would also especially like to thank Eda, the waitress in the restaurant on our first night. She was just lovely and went out of her way to make us comfortable and to answer our questions about the food. She also gave us some helpful recommendations for our time in Stockholm. The food at the restaurant was very good, and we had a couple of excellent cocktails. Lovely breakfasts too. The decor of the whole hotel is charming, and it had the best hotel gym I have ever experienced. We would absolutely stay here again on our next visit.
We stayed at this hotel for a few nights, and overall it was a very good experience. The location is excellent, with restaurants, a pharmacy, supermarkets, and many great places nearby. The hotel staff were very kind, helpful, and always willing to assist us. However, there are a couple of points that we felt could be improved. First, there was no refrigerator in the room. In most hotels around the world, even a small fridge is usually provided. Since we were traveling with a young child, this was a bit inconvenient. The staff kindly offered to store our food in their refrigerator downstairs, but this was not very practical as we had to go down and ask for our items each time. More importantly, there was no telephone or intercom system in our room. If we needed to contact the reception—for example, to request fresh towels—we had to use our own phone. As international travelers, roaming charges can be quite high, so this was not ideal. In our opinion, having a phone in the room is essential and would greatly improve the guest experience.
Very nice rooms. Professional and kind service staff. Really good location. Small parking garage - do not bring a too big of a car. I had a medium sized SUV and found a good parking spot just next to the door entrance to the hotel. If all spots are full, it is very difficult to maneuver your car.
Great forthcoming service, amazing gym, better than most regular fitness studios I’ve seen. Great restaurant to boot. Had to book an additional night due to travel complications and it was a breeze to figure out with the reception personnel how to best get it done and was able to stay in my room. Only small issue that some might care about: the lights in the room cannot be centrally controlled from the bed - you’ll have to walk around to turn lights on/off.
