Food was refreshingly authentic, service perfectly courteous without being too much, and the venue is unpretentious with outdoor and indoor sitting. I tried artichokes (fried), the perch with lovely peas and perfect asparagus, and oysters that were chucked almost perfectly.
Agnes is one of my favourite places in the city—every visit feels like coming home. We went on a Sunday evening planning to have just an aperitif, but once we arrived, we couldn’t resist staying for dinner. We hadn’t booked, thinking it would be quieter on a Sunday, but it was pleasantly busy. Luckily, we found three seats at the counter, which is always a great place to sit. We shared a bottle of Chablis and plenty of dishes. The fried artichokes are my go-to every time—perfectly crispy and absolutely delicious. The snow crab tartlet was fresh and delicate, while the scallops were rich and full of flavour. We also loved the sobrasada, which was wonderfully indulgent, and the aubergine skewers, which were outstanding. The Ibérico croquette is another of my must-order, and the cantaloupe melon was incredibly refreshing, the perfect refreshing contrast to the richer dishes There were three of us, so we ordered a variety of dishes to taste as much as we could—and this sharing concept is what I really like. We finished with the Mini Marlene, which is always the perfect sweet ending. Agnes is the place that keeps you coming back—for the great food, the relaxed atmosphere, and the feeling of being welcomed. Highly recommended.
Quite nice restaurant with good service and tasty food. It’s like a fancy tapas bar with the chef’s unique touch. Pulpo was the best of best! Tuna tartar and beetroot-goat cheese salad were also my favorite. I also tried their desert mum-mum which is apparently something very traditional.
Really Amazing food. Had the small plates and they were all incredible and finished with the amazing Agnes dessert. So good we went back twice to the restaurant in our 4 day trip
I had high expectations but was a bit disappointed. The food was okay, but nothing special or memorable. You can definitely find better options in Stockholm for this price range. It also felt a bit overpriced—especially the wine.
