We specifically visited this place based on numerous reviews not only on Google but also on other travel websites. Overall, we didn't regret it. The fish soup is truly magnificent. Keep in mind that the portion is quite large. Since we also had main courses, we split the soup between the two of us. The only thing, in my opinion, is that the large amount of mayonnaise overpowers the taste of the soup itself. So I recommend removing 2/3 of the mayonnaise from the plate before you start eating. As for the main courses, things weren't as straightforward. We really liked the fish cakes. We had never tried anything like them before. Very delicate texture and a pleasant, subtle flavor. The fish and chips, however, were overcooked and bland. All in all, I recommend stopping by here for the soup and something authentically Swedish.

Very tasty and delicious food! We were there two times because the first visit made us come back on the next day! At the first time we ate the fish soup and fish n’ chips. They were delicious. At the second time we ate salmon and mashed potatoes. Really good as well! I would totally recommend the salmon! The restaurant is located in the lowest floor of the market hall. Nice atmosphere. Be ready for a little rush especially at 17-18 because this is really popular restaurant.

Excellent fish soup! We ordered the fish soup and the pan-fried fish for two people, and both were fresh and delicious. The fish soup was especially flavorful and definitely the highlight of the meal, the soup can be refilled once you finished which is very caring. One thing we really liked was the self-service salad and bread station, where you can freely make your own salad and enjoy fresh bread at no extra cost. It was a great addition to the meal. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is on the smaller side, but it feels cozy rather than crowded. Overall, a wonderful place for a fresh seafood meal. We’d happily come back!

Kajsas Fisk is a must-visit for anyone looking to try traditional Swedish seafood. Their famous fish soup features a flavorful, clear broth filled with fresh fish and seafood, making it a light yet satisfying meal. They also serve a variety of other delicious seafood dishes prepared with high-quality ingredients. One of the best parts is that the soup comes with complimentary self-service salad, fresh bread, and crackers, making it an excellent value. Located in a small, busy corner of the food market, the restaurant has a lively and authentic atmosphere. Despite its popularity, the service is efficient and there was no wait during my visit. If you're visiting Stockholm, this is definitely one seafood spot you shouldn't miss.

I understand the hype of the fish soup. Its hot and really good and they dont skimp on the seafood! For tourists like me who don't know, the fish soup is REFILLABLE. The next portion is a bit smaller but its good and hot and they have free bread and fresh crispy salad near the counter. You have to send your old bowl nearby the counter for them to give you a new one. Grilled salmon is soft, the smoked salmon sandwich has a lot of salmon I feel like it needs more bread but it's good! And the salmon cakes are unique and soft. It has a side of fresh shrimps too. The mashed potatoes are bland but I think you have to salt it to your taste. The line moves fast. Theres tables and chairs. Highly recommend the fish soup.
