Super fun and funky hotel with lovely staff. I had a coughing fit when I was checking in and the manager ran to get me water, I will never forget her kindness! Breakfast was awesome. THE VIEWS ARE AWESOME!!! My room was so cool, including bathroom. Cleanliness was 10/10. I am only reducing by one star because the bed and bedding were not in good shape. The linens were actually quite threadbare and the pillows were tiny. I did not like the bed skirt either. I would stay here again and recommend this hotel. Just update your bed!

I made the bookings many months in advance. When I arrive, the room was exactly as it was shown. The staff is incredible from the front desk to the restaurant and bar. You are within walking distance of everything that you would need. When I come back to Stockholm, I will definitely return.

This is a really nice hotel that is one mattress away from being a great boutique hotel (bear with me here). The pros: The location and price (for the location) is quite good. Main train station and main subway line is about a ten minute walk or a short Uber if you have a lot of luggage. The room is typical European hotel—small and sparse. If you travel a lot in Europe, you’ll be familiar with it. Not a lot of amenities; again, typical for a European hotel. Staff was VERY friendly; the person working the front desk helped us get a room quickly after arriving early from a trans-Atlantic flight. Breakfast is nice, and is served on the 13th floor of the building’s annex. The walk takes all of 15 seconds, and you’re rewarded with a great view of Stockholm. The shower was a “large rain shower” type, and the water was hot and pressure was great. It’s attached to a mall with a variety of mall-like eating establishments; I’d recommend going to the pedestrian area just a block away. The con: Strawberry really needs to invest in some decent mattresses. The bed is essentially box springs with what is best described as a prison mattress on top. Every morning I’d wake up sore as opposed to rested. Be warned, this isn’t the typical European “firm mattress”; it’s a circle of Dante’s hell. Two stars for comfort, five for staff, 4.5 for location, so an overall four.

This is a really fun hotel. It's a boutique and has a fantastic bar downstairs that makes incredible brick oven pizza. My husband loves the rooms, there are very simple and have pegboards all around like you are living in an IKEA showroom. The music aspect of the room was incredible thanks to their relationship with Teenage Engineering. But as a women, I found the rooms a little too simple for the price. There were no tissues in the rooms, I had to use toilet paper. The soap for your hands and the soap in the shower for your body where the same. Which is normally not how I roll. The beds all dace the windows which I thought was a really cool touch. This is a cool hotel, if it's the right hotel for you. All the staff were super nice.
