Unique experience. I love the cold and this was cold at another level. Drinks were strong and delicious. The thermal poncho and gloves are provided and even though I didn't think I would need...well I did. Will come back again.
It's touristy and it's kinda kitsch but it's great. Included in the Stockholm card, take yourself down and just go with it🍸😁 The drinks are good and the ice carvwd sculptures are gorgeous. Cheers!
ICEBAR Stockholm is the world’s first permanent ice bar. Located inside the Hotel C Stockholm near Central Station, the entire interior—including the walls, tables, chairs, and glasses—is sculpted from pure Torne River ice from Jukkasjärvi. Kept at a constant -5°C, guests receive a warm hooded cape and gloves upon entry. It offers a unique, chilling forty-minute experience to enjoy colorful cocktails in a frozen wonderland.
Went here as part of the tourist package. It’s located in the back of the hotel in the alley. Easy check in and was given a thick jacket. Entered the ice room that was created to the ice hotel that created once a year by all ice up northern Sweden. It’s freezing inside and it’s unique experience, part of it, you got to have a cocktail in ice glass. It’s not strong enough to warm you up but you alway buy more drinks. I only last 30mins and I left. Definitely something to do in case you wonder how cold and how it is at the actual ice hotel. Yup, no need for me for sure. But really enjoyed the experience.
This is a small bar made of ice. It is a great experience. Nice cocktaila served in "glasses" made of ice . Poncho and gloves are provided at the entrance sin e the temperature in there is like -15 Celsius. Definitely worth a visit.
