Exceptional location. Quiet and close to shops and the old town. Very cozy and well maintained rooms, not the biggest, especially for a family of three. Abundant and good quality breakfast, though it could serve some more fresh fruit and vegetables. Both the room service and the reception staff were professional and friendly. An overall very pleasant stay in a pretty unique hotel.
Fantastic front desk staffs who are eager to help with any question. Great location. Bed was a bit dated and small restaurant for breakfast was under staffed so tables were often not cleaned on time for the next person’s use. But overall great value and location.
Had a lovely 2 night stay here. Arrived exhausted from a red eye from the US around 9 am, hoping to leave my bags and come back in the afternoon for check in. The wonderful gentleman at reception worked some magic and I was able to check in early and get some rest. Just so incredibly grateful for that! The breakfast in the morning had infinite options it seemed and I loved getting to try some Swedish novelties like pickled herring. The bed was really comfy. Also loved the big window in the room, perfect for much needed fresh air. Never even used the air conditioning. Highly recommend this hotel!
I loved my week at Kings Garden, and I'm already looking forward to coming back. By the end of my stay it felt cozy, special, and genuinely warm — the kind of place you're sorry to leave. So much of that comes down to two people. Kiki, the concierge, and Elliott were simply wonderful: attentive, gracious, and the kind of staff who make you feel truly looked after. Breakfast was a daily highlight, and small touches like the sparkling water made the whole experience feel thoughtful and special. They set the tone for everything I'll remember about this hotel. In the interest of honesty, the first night was bumpy — I started in a very small room with no air circulation, and sorting it out took a little persistence. But another staff member stepped in, moved me to a better room, and personally made sure everything was settled. After that, the week only got better and better. If you're considering Kings Garden, go — and say hello to Kiki and Elliot. I can't wait to return.
Noisy small rooms. Great location, good restaurant and bar. Pleasant service. Light switches in room take a while to understand, aircon doesn’t work. Overall a good hotel, but the thin walls of the room made getting a decent night sleep difficult.
