The room was clean and the location was convenient, but the window was fixed and could not be opened, meaning there was no possibility of natural ventilation or fresh air. This was not mentioned in the room description. As someone with allergies, this significantly affected my comfort during the stay, as I had to rely exclusively on air conditioning. Considering the price of the stay, I expected a higher level of comfort and basic room conditions, including proper ventilation and access to fresh air. Overall, this was not a room I would expect to be offered as a standard guest room.
I had a single room. The bed Was cosy,I think the room was big enough for me alone, breakfast was good with good variety. It's modern, the a/c was not too loud and worked good. And the location is also great.All in all,I was absolutely satisfied. But I had to gave away the fifth Star ,because when the cleaning staff made up my room, they forgot to make my bathroom.the towel was there were i left it, and I had no showergel for 3 days because the disposer was empty. That was the only let down, everything else was satisfying.
I visit Stockholm at least five times a year, and whenever there is availability, Scandic Klara is always my first choice. Over the years, it has truly become a home away from home for me. The location couldn't be better right in the heart of the city, with easy access to everything Stockholm has to offer. Whether you're exploring the city, shopping, dining, or using public transportation, everything is conveniently within reach. The rooms are comfortable and well-maintained, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. What makes this hotel truly special, however, is the consistently high level of service. Every stay feels effortless, and the staff always make me feel genuinely welcome. I also absolutely love their breakfasts, which are always delicious, varied, and a great way to start the day. After staying here so many times, I can confidently say that Scandic Klara is one of the main reasons I look forward to my trips to Stockholm. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, reliable, centrally located, and friendly place to stay.
Scandic Klara will be a good and safe choice for most people. The location is very good, almost regardless of the purpose of your visit to Stockholm. The central station with the Arlanda express is only a few minutes walk away. And there is a tube station on Hötoget. Shopping opportunities right outside in Drotningsgatan and Kungsgaten as well as several restaurants and eateries on Hötorget, including a large sports bar in O'Learys. Nordiske Kompaniet, Hamngatan, Kungsträdgården etc. are only a 5-10 minute walk away. The staff were very service-minded and cheerful. Large lobby area with accompanying bar and good kiosk selection at the reception. The common areas appear quite modern and so do the rooms, which were a decent size for a weekend stay. Large breakfast room in the backyard. There was nothing to complain about in terms of cleanliness. You can pay 200 SEK for early check-in or late check-out (4PM). Will definitely consider Klara again on my next visit to Stockholm.
Excellent location - very central in Stockholm and despite being in a bustling area, the room was quiet. Modern bathroom, bright room-natural light with window. Functional room although there’s a lack of wardrobes, shelves for clothing especially if you’re staying for almost a week ( more coat hangers are provided) The staff is very helpful and attentive.
