Grinda Wärdshus
Stockholm
Recenzje
Grinda Wärdshus offers a wonderful, relaxed dining experience in the heart of the Stockholm archipelago. Housed in a historic building from 1906 with beautiful views over the water, it captures that classic Swedish island charm: cozy with friendly service that makes you feel at home. The Clover Club cocktail balances gin, raspberry, lemon and signature silky egg white foam made for a refreshing start to the meal. Bright, not too sweet, and just the right touch of savory. The standout dish was the butter baked arctic char with boiled potatoes, cabbage, garlic crisp, trout roe & lobster sauce. It was nicely prepared, with the fish cooked to flaky perfection and the rich lobster sauce complementing the delicate arctic char beautifully. The accompanying vegetables and textures (especially the garlic crisp) added great contrast and freshness, making it a satisfying and flavorful main course. Overall, Grinda Wärdshus is a lovely spot for a leisurely lunch or dinner, whether you're arriving by boat or just seeking a peaceful escape. The atmosphere, solid food, and attentive service make it worth the trip. Highly recommended for a positive, unhurried meal by the sea. Booking in advance is a must in good weather.
Beautifully located in an island in the bay of Stockholm, this historical house exudes Swedishness. The local ingredients sourced menu is clearly Swedish and is very tasteful. The service was fast and friendly with great and well chosen wines. It is a relaxed spot with a great view of the bay since it lays on a small hill. Well recommended to get your small special Swedish experience
Great place to rest after a lovely hike around Grinda. The köttbullar were exceptional, and if you like refreshing beers, be sure to try the Grinda Lager. Really tasty!
