I visited Hernö Gin Bar for 3 nights straight during my Stockholm visit and had the chance to try almost every cocktail on the menu. Most of them were absolutely top class, with Spice and White Negroni standing out as my personal favorites. The bartenders are incredibly talented, watching them prepare the drinks is almost hypnotic. This place is a must visit for anyone spending time in Stockholm. Keep in mind that the place gets packed really quickly after 19:00.
Dropped by for a quick drink and left very happy with the experience. The servers were super nice and accommodating. The drinks were tasty and fun. Board games available at the place which can better the experience. The only bad part is that I didn’t win at chess.
We went for their Gin tasting which I highly recommend, tasting good gin - and have to guess which ones they are were fun. While very interesting information is given with passion, and our host willingly answered on all random questions being asked through the evening. The pre-drink we got was super nice :)
We went two years ago, in November 2023, and now again. Better than ever. We had reserved two bar stools for about 7pm. The place (really nicely decorated) was very busy, but not riotous, and, the staff were super professional and courteous. Swedish charm! Amazing selection of different gins, and some great cocktails on offer. Food options have improved amazingly since 2023, and now in 2025 there are some really excellent options. My spiced persimmon was simply superb. This concept is clearly a great one - well done to all involved, including Jon Hillgren, the CEO. Would love to try the Goteborg bar, and also the High Coast hotel in Harnosand.
One of the best Gin bars which I love. The bar is kniwn for its original gin crafted in sweden, Herno gin. The place is cozy and easy going and sure drinks are just great. I rode Lime bike thru uber from the heart of the city.
