Bistro Japanese MORE WINE - LESS FOOD!

Charming Ambar is located on Tomtebogatan 22 at St. Eriksplan. At Ambar Wine bar, food
comes second. The wine is what they focus on and especially amber-coloured drinks.

But of course they also serve food, something else would be illegal! Sakiko Jin, who previously
had Jin & Peter's makes simple dishes with Japanese home cooking as inspiration. But their big
focus is on the wine, not the food. The food should be seen as an accessory and flavouring to the
wine.

They are two at Ambar. Sakiko Jin and Damon Young. Sakiko likes orange wines and sherry. In
short, what leans towards oxidized. Damon, on the other hand, has not yet tasted an orange wine
or a sherry that he likes!
But Damon likes rum, cognac and beer and therefore they decided to niche on amber-coloured
drinks.

They are no chefs or sommelier, nor do they try to claim it. But they like simple food and good
wines, preferably with a slightly unusual flavours. Of course, they have more accessible drinks to
offer, but their goal is to help you try something new that might even be your new favourite!
