We stumbled upon this little restaurant during our anniversary trip, and it was love at first sight. Skaldjursbaren has this authentic, charming atmosphere that instantly makes you feel as if you were sitting right by the sea. The fish soup was wonderfully fresh and beautifully simple — exactly how you’d hope to experience it in Sweden. We then tried a small selection of tapas, which looked fantastic and were simply fun to eat. Everything felt fresh, thoughtfully arranged, and genuinely authentic. A special highlight was the owner: incredibly attentive, warm, and with a wonderful sense for making guests feel truly welcome. Her presence gives the entire place a personal touch that makes the experience unforgettable. A beautiful spot that made our special day even more special. Highly recommended!
First visit to the newly opened Skaldjursbaren, Kungsholmen's new living room. You can come here just to hang out and have a drink or partake in the small but oh so delicious menu. If you like seafood, Skaldjursbaren is really a place you have to try. You won't regret it and you will be well looked after by the friendly and service-oriented staff. Can really recommend a visit!
