A most phenomenal dining experience that will remain a wonderful memory! The staff and chefs at Persona are absolutely welcoming and lovely to talk with, and have such a keen awareness of the timing in the dining room and kitchen to deliver intuitive, professional service. The dishes are beautiful works of art and DELICIOUS, expertly crafted with fresh and purposeful ingredients. We loved everything! Easy to make a reservation through Google, ~3hrs dinner service and 2k+SEK per person as we enjoyed a variety of aperitifs and wine with numerous dishes. Sitting at the chef’s table was truly special. A refreshing, surprising detail is the chefs and managing staff both presented dishes and cleared them; watching them work together is like a dance. Understanding the personality of the sommelier who seemed to recommend certain French wines, we enjoyed a variety of lovely European wines instead. Overall, on par with Michelin starred restaurants but without the pretentiousness. If ever back in Stockholm we will visit again!! Highly recommend!!
We had an overall good experience with both food and service. The dishes were well executed and the staff was friendly. However, one detail was quite disappointing. We ordered the foie gras and cheese add-on for two people, but were only served a single portion to share. At the same time, a solo guest next to us received a portion of the same size, which made it unclear whether we received what we had paid for. We also found a small piece of plastic in one of the desserts. To their credit, the staff handled this professionally, apologized, and offered an extra drink. Overall a nice evening, but these issues affected the experience and felt below the level expected from a restaurant aiming for a higher standard. Update 15/05: We decided to give the restaurant another try after a month, and this time it was a solid 5/5. The food was great, and so was the service.
We visited Persona as a group for their special Valentine’s Day menu, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. Despite the restaurant being fully booked, the service remained warm, personal, and incredibly attentive, we never felt rushed, and there was always time for us. The menu was beautifully structured in three chapters; creative snacks and bites, followed by sophisticated mid-courses, and concluding with refined desserts. Every dish showed a sense of balance, though the chefs aren't afraid to be bold. Some flavor combinations were so daring they sparked a conversation at the table; was it a savory dish or a dessert? This kind of boundary-pushing is exactly what makes dining here so exciting. It is evident that Louis Cespedes and Jonatan Nyström bring their background from Frantzén into the kitchen. The plating is elegant and the flavor profiles are world-class. Our entire group gives Persona a perfect score and recommends it most warmly!
Inventive food, we enjoyed our experience here, the team was very friendly and looked after our group very well! The wine pairing was well designed and a big mention should be given to the non alcoholic pairing - each was carefully chosen and really went well with the dishes. Service was 5hours so be prepared!
They change menu for different seasons. Dessert was excellent with complex layers of flavor. The plum dessert and foie gras icecream with banana pudding are good. But the Asian twist for the main courses in Autumn Menu was quite off and VERY salty sauces for the squid ramen, suckling pig, beef and lamb. The Japanese rice is off for the (sushi rice?) vinegar flavoring and the rice seemed a bit not well cooked enough. The service is not on par with the price level (2100 / head). They missed one of the dishes and we found out only when we got the full menu when we paid the bill….! Wonderful atmosphere and interior design though.
