Reviews
Very cozy restaurant in the old town! The staff is very attentive and always around to accommodate our requests. The food is great, and the plates and decor of the place very charming and warm. Highly recommended, the prices are also fair considering the area and other similar restaurants.
An amazing place incredibly cozy and warm inside, especially during cold and snowy days, which makes the whole experience feel extra special. The wine list is huge with an impressive selection to choose from. The food menu is quite limited, but that clearly reflects a focus on quality. I tried the schnitzel with a gnocchi side dish and was honestly surprised by how good it was. High-end places can sometimes disappoint, but this exceeded expectations with generous portion, beautifully presented, extremely tender meat, and very fresh flavors. The side dish was excellent, and the wine paired perfectly with the meal. Highly recommended for a refined dining experience in Gamla Stan.
I had a wonderful experience at Restaurang Leijontornet. The interior alone is worth the visit. A sense of old-world elegance with comfortable chairs, painted ceilings, and a rich atmosphere filled with sculptures, artwork, and thoughtfully displayed bottles of liquor. It feels historic. The à la carte menu offered many tempting choices. I went with beef tartar for starters and turbot fricassee with lobster tail for my main. They were absolutely delicious. And it was portioned to satisfaction. Clearly made with care and high-quality ingredients. Service was also good: attentive and professional. All in all, a memorable dining experience that combines atmosphere, great food, and solid service. Highly recommended
