Description
Step into a calm, breathing art experience at ANDETAG. Immerse yourself in a space designed for stillness and presence, where light, sound, and textile art come together to create a meditative atmosphere.
Begin your journey in a gallery for close viewing, then move through a darker transition space, and finally enter a fully immersive breathing room. In the final room, find blankets and pillows, and sit or lie down to stay with the light and sound.
Admire the light-based textile art, woven from optical fibers and traditional materials. Watch as the textile glows from within, changing slowly over time, powered by thousands of small programmable LEDs.
Feel the rhythm of a shared breathing experience, synchronized to a slow, meditative breath. The rhythm is based on a real breath recording captured during meditation, and the system never repeats. If you want, breathe along.
Listen to music composed as small journeys, intended to guide you inward. Each piece has its own character and is synchronized with the breath and visualized through light.
Experience a global breath as each ANDETAG artwork is connected via the internet to synchronize with others around the world. Wherever they are placed, the works breathe together. There are currently works in the United States, Costa Rica, Mexico, and Sweden breathing in sync with the exhibition and with you.
