Great stay at Villa Dahlia We spent a few days at Villa Dahlia, really great experience. Beautiful hotel, quiet, great location in Vasastan, right next to the park, easy to get to Gamla Stan and the rest of the city center. We had an issue with the room during our stay, but Rasmus at reception was fantastic. Understanding, quick to react, he sorted it out fast and followed up to make sure everything was fine. Makes a real difference when staff are like that. Breakfast was great, the spa was lovely, and the rooftop has an amazing view over Stockholm. Thanks to Rasmus and the team. Would recommend, will be back.
Rooms feel upscale and are decorated in Scandinavia style. The breakfast is great. The management must have used time to carefully choose the items that are served on the breakfast. Even the coffee from the dispenser tasted really good. It's a rare treat to have a SPA in a hotel with real sauna. The gym has real weights not just machines. The best thing about this hotel turned out to be its restaurant. The food was amazing. I chose Entrecôte from the menu. The steak was just perfect and the side fries surprised me with the flavor. Only negative thing to mention is the "Scandinavian style of service". I would add a hint of smile, attentiveness, and smalltalk.
Incredible Stay at Villa Dhalia, especially to the kind staff that was very helpful and understanding with my ever changing travel dates! The hotel is very nice and comfortabel, the breakfast is great. Only downside maybe is that the windows didn't open and it can get a little hot inside, as well as construction in the inner court that made noise during th day
An elegant, well-appointed hotel in a fantastic location. Street parking is available — provided you master Stockholm’s Olympic-level parking rules and avoid the street-cleaning roulette. The staff, however, truly deserve praise: sweet, professional, and armed with a “we’ll fix it” attitude that makes the place shine brighter than the lobby chandeliers. We were even upgraded to a junior suite… which sounded glamorous until 6:30 a.m., when the loading dock directly beneath our room hosted what appeared to be the Swedish National Bedding Relocation Championships. Loud banging, rolling carts, and a truck collecting linens made sleep purely theoretical. Now, about the “suite.” Calling it a junior suite is accurate — emphasis on junior. The room itself was so tight that opening luggage became a strategic puzzle game. There was nowhere to properly unpack, no closet, and barely enough room to walk once our bags were open. Oddly, there was absolutely space to add storage, but the designers apparently chose minimalist aesthetics over the radical concept of human travelers needing somewhere to put their clothes. This seems to be a recurring Stockholm hotel philosophy: “Yes, guests travel here… but must they bring luggage?” Two people with full-size suitcases in this room would need either advanced choreography skills or a forklift. We only had rolling duffel bags and even those felt like oversized roommates. In the end, it’s a stylish hotel with lovely staff and beautiful finishes, but the price doesn’t quite match the reality of living out of your bag while sidestepping luggage like furniture in a tiny IKEA showroom. Fancy? Yes. Functional? Not unless your vacation wardrobe fits into a tote bag and a strong sense of optimism.
Stunning hotel and Molly from the front desk is outstanding… she treated me extremely well and helped me take care of a situation promptly and were amazing with their suggestions. Truly understanding the spirit of hospitality! The spa is fantastic. The restaurant is tremendous. Only constructive feedback would be getting different coffee pods that are not plastic in the rooms! Otherwise this hotel is absolutely world class.
