Love this place. Delicious food, large portions and reasonable pricing. I really recommend deer stew, it's definitely a highlight. Also tried a beef fillet with bacon, it was tasty, too. Fast service and good atmosphere. Some nice local beer as well to complete the experience.
A cosy and characterful place with hearty food, full of flavour, and welcoming and efficient service. Was a little loud for us, but it was also a Friday evening :). We have had a deer cooked with mushrooms in wine, pork knuckle with a super crusty skin and sour cabbage, and apple strudel. As for drinks, we have chosen a delicious french apple cider and rich and smooth dark beer. Left full, happy and satisfied with our restaurant choice. Can recommend it any time.
The skin of the pork was crispy. The fat layer underneath just melted in my mouth. The color of some part was slightly pink, which could indicate that the meat was not overcooked. Indeed every part of meat was moist and no signs of undercook was seen. The sauerkraut was served warm. The dumpling and the sauce were ok. The mustard was good when paired with meat.
