If you go here, you only go for the atmosphere. We had fika here and was so disappointed as it’s been so hyped. Found out there is no vanilla custard for The berry pie, only cream. And the apple strudel was so doughy it was not eatable. Iced latte was very watery with no coffee flavor. All baked good are displayed by the cashier with no coolers, we where there on a hot day. Not sure how healthy that is. But the staff where nice at least.
The lunch service was poor. We had to wait a long, slow-moving queue just to get our food, and there was only one person handling the entire service. The staff were unfriendly didn't even bothered to acknowledge us on the queue giving priority to a large group that was clearly prioritized . Terrible service for a hospitality business. Overall, a highly disappointing experience.
I'm visiting Stockholm for a few days, lovely city and people are really. One of my stops was the ABBA museum (must see!), then later i decided to enjoy lunch at this lovely restaurant by the river. The service was amazing, especially the dishes. For starter i ordered the homemade tomato soup OMG! Then for the main traditional swedish meatballs, 1st class! Before entering the restaurant i asked if they except cash, but unfortunately it's only card. However they were kind enough to except cash from me, for that they get an extra star! Thank for the service and enjoy my visit in Stockholm. Love frm Nic
Lovely caffe next to the Nordic Museum, right by the water. Traditional Swedish dishes and Fika.
Visited when it was dark outside. I think the charm of this place is the big glass windows facing the waters, but it could not be enjoyed when it was dark outside. The place almost felt a bit dull. There were different sections designated for the café guests and restaurant guests, but the interior was the same and the room was not divided into two different sections. The staff seemed slow and not very attentive. There were no coffee in the dispenser and a woman stood there waiting for 10 minutes without anyone from the staff coming to her aid. The place was not busy enough at that time that she could be ignored. Not much fika options available when visiting about 1 hour before closing. But the two buns we picked tasted lovely that i made me wonder how good rest of their baked goods may be.
