Description
Embark on a winter kayaking journey at Skärgårdens Kanotcenter under the guidance of an experienced kayaking instructor. Begin with a safety briefing and dry suit fitting before paddling through the archipelago’s islands, including routes near Vaxholm, known as the archipelago’s capital.
Along the way, you will pass historic sites such as the Vaxholm fortress, explore Bogesunds nature reserve, and learn about local history and wildlife. This peaceful outdoor experience is located just 30 minutes from central Stockholm. The tour concludes with a Swedish Fika coffee break to warm up.
For an extended experience, you can add a traditional wood-burning sauna session followed by an optional cold dip in the Baltic Sea.
