We stayed at the Freys for 6 days. Great location. Rooms are custom, charming and cozy and about same size as New York City hotel rooms. The hotel is one block to Drottninggatan street which is “shopping strip” in Norrmalm. Freys Hotel is right across the street from Arlanda Express train station which was really easy and super fast (1/2 the time of cab) to Arlanda Airport. The restaurant is fantastic ! Free LARGE breakfast buffet every morning which is really incredible. Most everyone in hotel eats in morning. We loved the Greek/Turkish yogurt with berries, granola, dried fruit, plenty of coffee, eggs, bacon, pastries ……. We had dinner there two times and the mussels (they are known for) are great. Hotel is walking distance to everything in Gamla Stan (old town big for tourists) and the Vasa Museum (must see). Hotel employees are very nice and all speak English which is pretty common in Stockholm. We loved the hotel and our trip would not have been as nice without this hotel experience.
My sister and I stayed here in June on our first trip to Stockholm. The location is fantastic— a very short walk to the train station and public transit, as well as shopping and restaurants. We booked a double occupancy room but it was extremely small, and did not fit two suitcases since the width around the bed wasn’t wide enough for them to lay flat on the ground! The restaurant was undergoing renovations, which resulted in a rather disappointing breakfast. It had fewer options and less variety as compared to other hotels. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The convenience of the location to the train was nice .the price definitely did not match the service of the hotel. The breakfast was blah I'm not a fan of watery eggs and we only eat fish as far at meat umm I guess it's good if you like ham and bacon and bread it wasn't for us ..side note the H10 in Barcelona breakfast ( Perfecto ) But it was a cute spot very Stockholm $1400 for a 5 day stay ..what can I say I've definitely got more bang for my buck other places. The people seem nice but not very personable.
Very comfortable stay here. The room is artistic and comes with a balcony. It’s well-equipped with a microwave, iron, room slippers, and even an eye mask. The breakfast has a wide variety of options. It’s also very close to the train station.
I had a great stay at Freys Hotel. The location is excellent — very central and convenient for exploring the city. The service was truly outstanding. After I checked out, I realized I had forgotten my electric toothbrush in its travel case. The staff responded quickly and kindly arranged to send it to me in another country. I was very impressed by their professionalism and willingness to help. Highly recommended, and I would definitely stay here again!
