After months of fully booked I finally found a slot and went there with my husband for our anniversary. The vibes reminded me of an authentic Izakaya from Tokyo (lived there 6 years) with food being prepped in front of your eyes (get the bar table). The Yakitori were tasty but they kind of all tasted the same (pork stood out). The caviar dish bread was so tasty. Service was great with chefs explaining every dish served. Overall positive experience but overhyped and a little overpriced for what it is.

One of the popular izakaya spots in town, so it gets pretty busy. We waited about an hour as walk-ins. The vibe inside is fun and lively, great for hanging out. The food was really good, especially the scallops, they were super tasty. You have to try the sesame ice cream. It’s unique, with a nice sesame flavor and caramel on top, and honestly one of the best desserts I’ve had. Definitely recommend booking ahead to skip the wait. Solid spot overall.

I visited here on the anniversary with my boyfriend. We had a good time here. I tried different dishes like Wagyu A5 from Japan, Tebasaki, Momo, Tsukune , Butabara , and Bird Liver Mousse. I liked everything except Bird Liver Mousse. I thought it was not the right combination between liver and plum. It brought out the strong taste of the liver in my opinion. I loved their Japanese wagyu a lot. It melted in my mouth. Cocktails were ok but they were too little with a bit high price. The only thing that disturbed me was the long waiting time for each dish...around 12-15 mins. This is over my standard if I compare with good Izakaya restaurants that I experienced in Japan, even in Stockholm. Booking is recommended.

Japanese inspired foods which are tasty. We enjoyed the cocktails and umeshu as well. Heart skew is soft and tasty, not sticky at all. Hamachi is also good. Please note that the portion is very small.

We had an amazing experience in this Miyakodori japanese Izakaya style restaurant. The food was delicious, the atmosphere relaxed and vibrant and the pace was faster than normal. You better book in advance because this place is packed and popular. We tried different food from the menu and all of them were exquisite, we did not pick the omakase experience. We enjoyed the desert and the grilled skewers the most. Personally i would like to see some offal on the bbq menu but i guess its not that popular so they didnt have it unfortunately. It is a bit pricier than normal - but hey, the vibe and tasty food was worth it. Not sure if we would come for a second time, it depends on what they have on the menu. But would definitely recommend this restaurant!
