Museums and Galleries The archaeological findings are the heart of the Medieval museum. In the late 70’s the largest excavation ever in Stockholm was held.

The exhibition is placed underground and features 55 meters of Stockholm’s original town wall from the 16th century, a medieval cemetery and a war ship.

The exhibition space is 1,750 square meters and it includes approximately 1,000 exhibits. The items are collected from all over the city area.
