Archipelago Sauna - A Floating Adventure offers an unforgettable wellness experience amidst the natural beauty of the Stockholm archipelago. Located north of Gällnö, the adventure begins with a choice between two thrilling modes of transport: a high-speed RIB boat or a scenic taxi boat. Both options take visitors on a journey through the picturesque archipelago, featuring over 30,000 unique islands, before arriving at the sauna's location.

The central attraction of this experience is a traditional wood-fired floating sauna. Here, guests can gather to enjoy the calming warmth and steam of the sauna, surrounded by untouched Swedish nature. The floating sauna allows for a relaxing retreat with the opportunity to take a refreshing dip in the sea, thereby combining adrenaline, tranquility, and an authentic Scandinavian wellness practice.

Ideal for small groups of up to twelve people, this experience is perfect for those looking to escape the city and immerse themselves in the tranquil setting of the archipelago. It suits families, friends, and colleagues seeking both adventure and relaxation. The boat journeys, whether via the high-speed RIB or the more leisurely taxi boat, provide unique perspectives on the stunning landscapes and are just as integral to the experience as the sauna itself. Archipelago Sauna also prioritizes environmentally conscious operations, ensuring that their adventures have minimal impact on the beautiful surroundings.

The entire tour was incredible! We got to ride with the extraordinary Captain Adam on the rigid inflatable boat. First, he set us up with full body suits, goggles and beanies so that the ride was not too cold. We learned a bit about the history and landmarks as we journeyed to our own private floating sauna. The wood burning sauna also has a connecting living room to relax in. Outside was a grill and we opted for the grill buffet which included salads, breads, cheese, deli meat, meat and veggies to grill on the charcoal grill and some dessert. Towels were provided along with water. We got to enjoy 3 hours of privacy and relaxation before boarding the RIB back to our starting point. If you get a chance to experience this, I would highly recommend it! We would do it again in a heartbeat. Thank you for such an amazing experience!
